• Maintains accurate and current purchase order information.
• Negotiates best pricing and deliveries to meet the cost and timing targets of the transition program.
• In collaboration with the Regional Commodity Managers, recommends suppliers for specific commodities or parts.
• Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues.
• Reports project status regularly to the NPI Commodity Managers to ensure information for business updates is available as required.
• Work closely with and support NPI Commodity Managers by providing supplier feedback and assuring compliance of order placement in a timely manner with the strategic supply base.
• Keeps internal customers informed of supplier delivery and business issues as known through day to day contact with strategic suppliers.
• Maintain data integrity in Oracle Purchasing Database.
• Assures and assists with timely and cost effective delivery of purchased materials across International borders.
• With guidance from the NPI Commodity Manager, conducts purchase order negotiations.
• Visits suppliers as necessary and appropriate within scope of job responsibilities.
• Resolves invoices discrepancies.

In addition to my extensive experience, I have Preferred Manufacturing environment experience, Procurement experience with electronic and mechanical components, Highly developed focus on the customer to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Demonstrated negotiation skills, Demonstrated organizational and multitasking skills, Highly developed computer skills with experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite of products, Direct hands-on experience with Oracle Purchasing and SAP a plus, CPIM and/or CPM certification, Six Sigma Green and Black Belt certification. My broad background makes me an excellent candidate for Purchasing Analyst position.
